- We are a nurse owned and managed company with 25 years of nursing experience.
- CareNet maintains a staff of qualified and experienced homemakers and care providers, including Certified Nurse Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses.
- Services are available days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hourly or live-in.
- Client specifies what duties are to be performed. Employees may help with personal care and bathing (ADL's)*, household chores (cooking, laundry, light cleaning), and errands.
- (ADL's)* or Activities of Daily Living refers to the basic tasks of everyday life, such as eating, bathing, incontinent care, dressing, transferring and mobility.
- CareNet employee may accompany the client for appointments or errands, and out of town medical escort with prior arrangements.
- Homemaker or Nurse Aide are provided at an hourly rate with a typical 2 or 3 hour minimum per visit. Day and vacation companion rates are available in certain cases.
- If skilled LPN or RN services are required, services are provided at an hourly rate with a 1 hour minimum. Third party assessments and documentation are provided at skilled rates.
- There is no charge for the initial interview. In addition to physical and general health issues, the interview focuses on matching your individual needs with the abilities of our staff.
- Major holidays are billed at one and one-half the hourly rate.
- CareNet does not require a contract. However, 24 hour notice of cancellation is requested. A cancellation charge will be made for less than 24 hour notice or if client is not home as scheduled.
- A one week deposit may be required to initiate service.
- CareNet provides liability insurance, workers compensation and required payroll taxes.
- CareNet does not accept Medicare. If you have other insurance, please inform the office. Prior arrangement must be made with your insurance company.
- If client desires to privately hire a current employee, a placement fee will be charged. RN Case Management and private placement services on request.
